The benefits to exercising are endless! Completing at least 30 minutes of exercise on most days of the week can assist with the management and/or prevention of some of the leading causes of death in Australia.
Chronic conditions such as Type Two Diabetes, Hypertension, Depression, Anxiety and Cardiovascular Disease can all be managed and/or prevented with a correctly designed exercise program.
EXERCISE IS FOR EVERYONE. You just have to find the exercise you and your body love, and we can help you do that.
In an exercise consultation, the Exercise Physiologist will prescribe an effective and appropriate exercise program, individualised to your needs, and goals and from the outcomes of a physical assessment that includes aerobic, strength and flexibility testing.
Usually, this requires two exercise consultations; one for the fitness assessment and one for the program delivery.
Medicare, DVA and Health Insurance services may apply.
If you are serious about achieving your goals, an affordable personal training package will really get you on your way! The package includes; 10 x 30-minute, one on one sessions that are tailored just for you. These sessions keep you motivated, accountable, educated and focused on your goals.
In 10 sessions, you are sure to feel healthier, fitter, stronger and you will be equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence to continue by yourself. However, many of our clients choose to continue with us for motivation and accountability.
Over 50’s Group Fitness Class
Group fitness can be the key to a successful exercise regime. Our group fitness classes combine cardiovascular exercise and resistance training alongside balance, core and mobility exercise for a full body workout, ticking off all the exercise recommendations in one simple session.
Exercises can be modified to suit individual needs and classes provide support, encouragement and socialising in a fun, judgment-free environment.
Our group fitness classes are great if your enthusiasm and self-motivation are low, you aren't sure what exercises to do and/or you would like some guidance from an experienced exercise professional.
Every class is unique to keep it interesting and uses a variety of equipment and techniques including hand weights, exercise bands, balls and body weight.
It is recommended to have an initial exercise consultation prior to starting a fitness class and a medical clearance is required if you have any condition or injury that may be affected by exercise. Remember, our exercise physiologists are trained in appropriate exercise for the management of many injuries and chronic conditions.
To ensure you adhere to regular exercise and achieve your health and fitness goals, group fitness packages are available which also saves you money.

Beginners Over 50’s Group Fitness Class
This class is suited for anyone who has not exercised for a long time or who has any medical condition/injury that would benefit from attending an exercise class by an Exercise Physiologist.
A medical clearance is required if you have any condition or injury that may be affected by exercise. Many of our participants choose to have an initial exercise consultation prior to starting the class.
You are more than welcome to do chair exercises in these classes while you build your fitness.
Group fitness packages are available to purchase. We encourage you to purchase a package to not only save you money, but so you can start to see the benefits of the classes.
